Chelsea Flower Show, this week 24th - 28th May. It is exciting this year’s show returns in May with a Jubilee theme at Royal Hospital and the stores in the area putting on some extravagant displays even if you are not going to the show it’s worth a visit to Sloane Street and the King's Road area.
I’ll be seeking inspiration for my own garden in Suffolk, where I’ve successfully cultivated a wood of 30 trees and pathways lined with lavender and nepeta. I plan to plant 7 more birch to mark the Platinum Jubilee.
After an exhausting day at the show, it’s important to have places in mind where you can head to chill out, those must-visit spots include:
Further down the King's Road at Worlds End is my new discovery Frantoio bend I am heading there today – book in advance as it's very popular!
Or Pavilion Road, closer to the showground offers Hans’ Bar & Grill, Granger & Co, and Ice Cream Union not forgetting the Duke of Yorks eateries.
We also match up our floral scarves with beautiful umbrellas when the light summer showers occur, don't miss them out!
